On average, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities report a desire to work, however up until two years ago, nearly 70% of the disabled population struggled with unemployment -- a statistic that had not changed the last 30-years.  HTA students have reversed that disheartening statistic and currently 85% of our students are employed.  We are delighted that our organization has aided in lowering the unemployment rate in the Lakeway area!
