Job Skills Training Program

On average, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities report a desire to work, however up until last year, nearly 70% of the disabled population struggled with unemployment -- a statistic that had not changed the last 30-years.  Hidden Treasures Academy students have reversed that disheartening statistic and currently 90% of our students are employed.  On February 5, 2019, the President delivered his second State of the Union Address.  In that address, he shared this encouraging news:  "Unemployment for Americans with disabilities has also reached an all-time low."   We are delighted that our organization has aided in lowering that unemployment rate in the Lakeway area!
